Welcome to the July edition of your Travel Tea Break! School’s out for summer, kids are enjoying hot weather! Which can only mean one thing – July has ended, and August (my birthday month) is upon us. Travel News: Here Are UNESCO’s Newest World Heritage Sites
High up on many traveller’s wish lists are a number of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are currently 1073 sites around the world, which include a number of cultural and historical sites and nature reserves. And July alone saw 26 new sites added to the UNESCO list. I was particularly pleased to see the Lake District in the UK now added. So, sit back and prepare for your bucket list to get even longer as you take a look through which places are now UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
