2024 Update: We’ve checked that all of these fabulous travel gifts for men are still available and we’ve replaced some gifts with others where needed. As for new stuff, we found this stylish monogrammed travel document wallet and a budget-friendly RFID-blocking version, which we just had to include. Also, although Apple AirTags have been around for a couple of years, we’re seeing more and more travellers loving them, so they now feature in several of our gift guides. Finally, we love this leather tablet case and document organiser this year.

Travel-Inspired Stocking Fillers Under £20

Whether you’re loading up on stocking fillers or you simply don’t want to break the bank, take a look at these travel gifts for men under £20, which he’s sure to love!

Travel Token Keychain

If he’s been to lots of places (or is planning to) then a travel token keychain like the ones from The Wander Club are perfect travel gifts for men. The leather keychains are so smart and stylish and you can buy him the travel tokens every year, so it’s basically the gift that keeps on giving! You can choose from various types of tokens, such as country, state, national park and landmark tokens. What’s also great about The Wander Club is that they provide a meal to a child in need for every order placed. Very cool!

Personalised Travel Journal

Whether he’s a travel blogger looking for something smart and sleek to write his blog ideas in, or he just wants somewhere to jot down notes he needs for the road, a travel journal is a great gift idea and stocking filler. We particularly like these journals, which can also be personalised.

Waterproof Pouch

If he’s into snorkelling, surfing or bodyboarding, or simply likes to snap photos in the pool then he’ll love having a waterproof pouch. He’ll have full use of his phone underwater and somewhere handy to keep his money and keys while he’s in the water.

Foldable Water Bottle

A foldable water bottle is another stocking filler we recommend for travel lovers as they help people to drink more and roll up into a small size when they’re empty, so it won’t take up unnecessary space in his backpack. Check out this one on Amazon as it’s got great reviews and won’t bust the bank!

Scratch the World Map

If he doesn’t already have one, a Scratch the World map is a great gift idea under £20. It’ll look smart hanging over his desk, will help him remember all the places he’s been to and will help him dream up lots of new places to travel to as well!

Super Soft Travel Pillow

Okay, so you’ll probably struggle with fitting a travel pillow inside his stocking, but it’s still a great and cheap travel gift for him. For some added comfort on his next trip, go for a super soft travel pillow like this plush grey one.

Universal Travel Adapter

It wouldn’t be a bloke’s stocking without a few practical gifts thrown in. This universal travel adapter works for over 200 different countries and has three USB ports, so this should be the only adapter he’ll ever need.

Travel-Sized Toiletries From His Favourite Brand

If you know he has a favourite brand of toiletries, have a look to see whether they come in sizes of less than 100ml. Right there, you’ll have a whole bunch of stocking fillers he can use on his next trip! Why not try something by ManCave?

Travel Books and Memoirs

If he loves reading on the plane or train, then here are some of our favourite travel books and memoirs, which focus on men’s stories:

Novelty Travel-Inspired Coffee Mug

What would a stocking be without a few novelty gifts thrown in for good measure too? Check out this fun camera lens coffee mug – especially if he’s also into photography!

Personalised Passport Holder

A smart passport holder not only looks great but it can also be personalised. And they’re cheaper than you might think! We particularly like this world map one.

Carry-On Cocktail Kit

How awesome are these carry-on cocktail kits? Because the liquids come in under 100ml, he can take them on the plane (all he needs is a glass and some mixers). Or he can enjoy them when he finally gets to his hotel.

Compression Packing Cubes

Grab him a set of compression packing cubes like these ones if he’s backpacking or travelling hand luggage only and he’ll surely thank you when he’s packing for his next trip!

Travel Shaver

Help him to pack light and stay well-groomed on his travels with a pint-sized shaver. This one from Braun has great reviews and comes with a built-in travel lock to stop him from cutting himself when grabbing it from his bag. It’s also battery-powered for on-the-go grooming!

Affordable Travel Gifts For Men Under £50

Most of the travel gifts for men mentioned in this section are actually on the cheaper end of the scale (around £30), so they still won’t break the bank! You’re welcome.

Apple AirTag & Holder

To help him keep track of his belongings, you could offer to buy him an Apple AirTag. This handy little device connects with modern iPhones or iPads, and should his belongings get lost or stolen, he’ll be able to locate them (assuming the AirTag is still with his stuff, of course). For an extra £10, you could even buy him a personalised AirTag holder like this one.

Stylish Travel Document Wallet

We could never be without our travel organiser, which makes finding travel documents a breeze at the airport. For added security, check out RFID-blocking organisers like this stylish leather one or this smart budget version. You could even splurge a little bit and buy a monogrammed organiser like this one.

RFID Wallet

It’s not just his passport that could do with some RFID-blocking technology! Help him keep his credit cards safe with an RFID wallet. Ekster is a popular brand for this type of wallet, but they can be a little on the expensive side. Here’s a cheaper option just for credit cards or check out this one, which also has space for coins and notes.

Travel-Inspired Cufflinks

When dressing smartly, men who are into travel should always have a set of travel-inspired cufflinks. We love these planet earth cufflinks, these aeroplane altimeter cufflinks and these custom coordinate cufflinks.

Smartphone Lens Kit

If he’s into photography and loves a gadget or two then a smartphone lens kit ticks both boxes. There are lots of different ones to choose from. This starter set is a great option.

Lightweight Camera Tripod

A lightweight tripod is another great travel gift if he’s into photography and travel as he’ll be able to get some great shots and pack light! Check out this one – it folds up fairly small!

Portable Hard Drive

This fantastic hard drive has 1TB of space and is lightweight and portable so he can easily travel with it if needed. It even comes with a 5-year warranty!

Portable Speaker

Why not buy him a portable speaker so he can play his favourite music in the shower or while relaxing in his hotel room? This one by Sony is a bestseller on Amazon or this one by Anker is also a great option.

Travel Photo Prints

Help him decorate his “man cave” or home with some attractive photo prints. There are lots to choose from on Etsy like the ones by Andy Holmes, JW Irvine, or TravelPrintStoreCo. His favourite photographer might also have some options on their own website. You could even get some of his own photos blown up into a larger size and framed for an extra special straight-from-the-heart gift.

Customised Compass Gift

Giving him a compass that’s been personalised with a message of your choice is a sweet little gesture and makes a great travel-inspired decor item for his home as well!

Get Your Guide Gift Card

Scott canoeing on Loch Lomond

We book all our day tours through Get Your Guide as it’s easy to do online and they have a super generous 24-hour cancellation policy! So why not buy him a Get Your Guide gift card and let him pick from over 35,000 incredible experiences, day trips and tours from all over the world?!

Frequent Traveller Gift Guide: Travel Gifts For Men Over £50

And finally, if you want to splurge a little on someone special then here are our picks of fabulous travel gifts for men over £50.

Leather Tablet Case & Document Organiser

If the man in your life travels for work or frequently, then he might find this leather tablet case particularly helpful. It doubles up as a travel document organiser and there’s even space for pens, a notepad and his mobile phone! What makes this gift really special is that you can also have it personalised.

Practical Travel Backpack

A stylish and practical travel backpack is another great gift for the travel lover in your life. Take a look at this one from Stubble & Co, which is proving popular with both men and women. We were recently asked to roadtest one. We found it to be a handy size (it’s spacious without being bulky). We especially like that it has a padded laptop compartment in the back for added protection and security, as well as a zipped pocket deep inside the bag, which is a very useful anti-theft feature.

Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Where would we be without noise-cancelling headphones? Probably clasping our hands over our ears in exasperation with aeroplanes full of screaming children or white noise! Grab him a smart pair of noise-cancelling headphones if he doesn’t already have some and he’ll surely be thanking you the next time he flies!

Smart Weekend Bag

Get your favourite travel lover ready for his next weekend jaunt to the coast or epic road trip with a smart weekend bag or holdall. We think he’ll like this grey canvas holdall or this chocolate brown leather duffel bag. Or why not get one personalised with his initials?

Travel Subscription Box

The Nomadik Travel Subscription Box

To help your favourite travel lover get ready for an epic trip, consider buying him a travel subscription box. We’ve recently reviewed a whole bunch of travel subscription boxes here, but if you’re short on time, then here are the best ones for him:

Luxury Travel Experience Gift

Scott's Skydive

When you know he’s already got everything he could possibly want or need for travelling, help make his next trip even more memorable by giving him a unique travel experience. You could buy a specific experience from somewhere like Virgin Experience Days or BuyAGift. But we’ve also recently heard about Tinggly, which is another travel gift experience company – but with two major differences. First, there’s no expiration date on the experience! And second, each gift box allows your favourite traveller to choose his own experience in countries all over the world! Cool, huh?!

4K Drone Camera

And finally, this one is a bit of a splurge but drone photography is becoming more and more popular every year, so he’s sure to love a 4K drone camera if he hasn’t already got one. Prices vary a lot and you often get what you pay for, but it is possible to find some great affordable options. Take a look on Amazon, or if you’re not sure where to start, check out this one, which is relatively affordable and popular on Amazon.
